Terms of Service

DC Road Runners Club (DCRRC) is incorporated as a nonprofit corporation under D.C. Code Title 29 Chapter 4. We are an exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, via the Road Runners Club of America group exemption. Our mailing address is PO Box 100561, Arlington, VA 22210. Our registered agent for service of process is: InCorp Services, Inc., 1090 Vermont Ave NW, Suite 910, Washington, DC 20005.

Race Entries

In the absence of a written race or series-specific policy, race entries are not eligible for refunds, deferrals, or transfers.

Use of Names and Photographs

DCRRC uses social media, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to promote and record its races, scheduled workouts, and other events. Event attendees and program participants agree to the use, publication, and distribution of their names and photographs in broadcasts, newspapers, brochures and other print and electronic media (including for advertising or sales promotional purposes) without compensation, and waive and release any claim or right they may otherwise have arising out of such use, publication, or distribution.

Websites, Email Lists, and Social Media

DCRRC operates websites, email lists, and social media accounts for the benefit of its members and the public. No person may sell, distribute, modify, transmit, reuse, repost, use, or create derivative works based on the content of a website, email list, or social media account in whole or part for any purpose without the written permission from DCRRC or the owner of such content. Embedding or republishing content in a manner that preserves the authorship and other metadata (e.g. RSS feeds, Twitter retweets, or embedded Facebook feeds) is permitted.

Comments

When you comment on a DCRRC website or social media account, you retain copyright but grant DCRRC a perpetual and irrevocable right to display your comment. DCRRC reserves the right to moderate and/or delete comments at any time. Individuals who abuse their commenting privileges may be banned from posting to one or more websites or social media accounts.

Responsible Disclosure

DCRRC appreciates and encourages the responsible disclosure of security vulnerabilities in services operated by DCRRC. Vulnerability reports (including a description and steps to reproduce) should be sent to webmaster@dcroadrunners.org.
