Running the DMV Since 1961
Chris Kupczyk
Q: What is your favorite running trail?
In-Town—Custis. Close to home, and a good hill workout to boot.
Out-of-Town—Des Plaines River Trail, Lake County, IL (northern Chicago suburbs). Thirty miles of crushed gravel through a nature preserve.
Q: What is your favorite SLR trail (if different from favorite running trail)?
Ross Drive
Q: What SLR trail should Max and other course planners never have charted and exposed unsuspecting runners to?
Last May we went up the Capital Crescent and through some neighborhoods off Mass. Ave. It poured most of the way, so my directions disintegrated and I ran around aimlessly until I found some other lost SLR folks. But I guess I can’t blame Becky for the rain.
Q: What’s on your race schedule this year?
Cherry Blossom, Spring and Fall LMI (my employer) 3-Milers, Army 10-Miler, and a fall marathon (location TBD)

Deep dish pepperoni and mushroom
